About Ellie Harte
I graduated in 2004 with a degree in Sports Science. Originally I chose to work supporting young people to access and progress in sport, exercise and outdoor learning. I believe in the power of a body that feels and moves well for overall well being, and started working with massage therapies in 2010.
Since then bodywork has evolved into my career. I have trained in Swedish massage, Sport and Remedial Massage, Pregnancy massage and Advanced clinical Massage. I am currently in the second year of a level 6 Btec in Advanced Clinical and Sports massage with the Jing Advanced Massage School.
I use consultation to assess your areas of pain and restricted movement and inform a course of treatment. Using an agreed plan I aim to reduce your pain and discomfort within 1-6 treatments and introduce a self care plan. My treatments use a combination of traditional massage techniques, trigger point therapy, Myofascial release, acupressure points and stretching to achieve best results.
I regularly work with the following conditions: neck pain, back pain, strains and sprains, frozen shoulder, shoulder impingement, hip and sciatic pain, tendinopathy, RSI’s and arthritis.
I also work with stress related, systemic and autoimmune conditions.
