Lindsey Chalmers is an experienced holistic practitioner and a Certified EFT 2 Practitioner. She is Registered with AAMET, the lead body for EFT in the UK.  Lindsey previously trained and practised as a Hypnotherapist and a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner and is therefore able to integrate  some of these techniques into her work with EFT whenappropriate.

Lindsey is available for appointments on a Monday afternoon or evening.

Initial  Session :               90 mins    £60

Subsequent Sessions  :  60 mins     £40

A number of sessions may be required depending on individual need. However EFT is something that you can practice for yourself at home in between session

What is EFT

Emotional Freedom Technique or “Tapping” is a mind / body technique . It is a talking therapy that uses tapping on acupressure points on the hands, face and upper body while focusing on a particular emotion, memory or belief. This process helps balance the energy system and release the emotional charge of the memory. Gary Craig the founder of EFT states that…”the cause of all negative emotion is a disruption in the body’s energy system” . EFT is a way of balancing the system.

What Can EFT be Used for

EFT can be used to reduce stress and tension , promote a deeper mind  body connection and to manage various symptoms. It can support people to process emotions including fear, anger, grief, difficult memories, stress and anxiety. It helps to calm the system and can support you in identifying emotional triggers, behaviours and core beliefs.
